Terms Entered in Search
When you type a name, location, or other terms into a search box, those terms are sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. McLennan County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms control its collection and handling.
Messages Sent to Us
If you send an email or use a contact form, we retain the message and the contact details you provide so we can review and answer it. We do not share that correspondence outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Routine Technical Information
Like most websites, this site may collect standard technical details when a page loads. These records help the site function, measure traffic, and diagnose faults.

Avoid sending sensitive identifiers, juvenile information, financial details, or documents through an ordinary site message. Use the official agency's secure channel when requesting a McLennan jail register, TDCJ record, court copy, or other government document.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children.
